Smell from new car vents

Featured Replies

Hi. I've had my car a year and a strange smell has started to come from the vents. It is like smelly socks

The car is spotless so wondered what it could be and how do I remove the smell?

The simple thing to do would be replace the cabin air filter and leave the AC on.

You can also try a can of A/C car cleaner, dozens of brands available most under £10.

The car has only done 8000 miles since new, should the filter need changing so soon?

Try the A/C cleaner 1st and see if that helps...

Something like this which Tesco often have on offer
