Hi, I’ve just bought a 2020 Focus ST Line X 1.5 diesel and to my surprise, the engine isn’t an EcoBlue . I thought all Mk 4 Focus diesels we’re on adblue so I’m hoping someone on here can give me some info. I believe it’s a TDCI duratorq which was in my previous 2016 Focus ???. Am I correct?. Who knows but I’m hoping an expert on here can enlighten me.

    Ecoblue is the name of the engine

    Adblue is an additive 

    Early MK4s didn't use Adblue

    Duratorq was 8 valve with one cam.  EcoBlue is 16v with twin cams.  Very easy to tell them apart from the top.
