What to do, Gear box failure..

Hi..

2 weeks ago,  my focus made this scrapping noise and oil started leaking..Cut a long story short mechanic said the gear box has had it.  Focus is a 2012 plate..1.6 ecoboost 182bhp.. been regularly serviced.   91k on the clock,  up until 2 weeks ago she was running aboustley fine. Standard wear on the outside for the age of the car..  shall I keep or gey rid..if getting rid anyone know what price should I put it up for, will also say in the ad gearbox failure.

    Fit a good used gearbox then either keep or sell. 

    I'm fairly sure you'll lose more selling it as 'faulty' than spend on the cost of fitting a used gearbox.

    Would expect less than £1000 to sell as spare or repair.
