So guys im abit stuck and need some help

I bought a focus st3 auto from auction as stolen recovered  got it home plugged it in, and the vin does not match the car, it comes back as a 2013 manual and the car is a 2017 auto.

I have done some research and can see that it is possible, to change the vin via diagnostics, my question here is, can anybody from the yorkshire area help me out and revert the vin back to its original to match the car, or tell me what diagnostic i would need to do the job

I'd be very dubious about non matching codes. I think it would be impossible to change the vin, tho i may be wrong.

Probably just means it's had a used module fitted from another car.  As long as the physical VINs match it doesn't really matter.
