Headlight adjustment offside

Featured Replies

Hiya my fiesta has failed mot on headlight adjustment.  We've put a new headlight unit on which is fully working when tested however the problem is somewhere else. My mechanic is struggling to find where the issue is. Any advice welcome

There are adjuster screws to adjust the aim of the beam lower and higher on the back of the headlamps, someone will be along to tell you where they are as I'm unsure

Just ensure the headlamp is fully inserted into the locators in the body, before you attempt to adjust the aim

I assume it's failed on levelling from the cabin switch rather than adjustment?

If it is just beam adjustment then as Dave says, that's corrected using an Allen key on top of the light.  Best done using an MOT alignment tool to get right.

I would seek the opinion of a 2nd mechanic.
