Xtreme Power H1 Bulb Question

Featured Replies

hi

ive recently changed my full beam to the philips extreme power h1's and ive noticed that they have a slight blue tint on the ends of the bulb? , i would of thought that would be only on the bluevisions?.

If anyone else has got the extreme power full beams could they confirm that there is a slight blue tint on the actuel bulb?

thanks

Hi

I have xtreme power h1's and h7's

I cannot say i notice any blue tint at all.

Is the blue tint there to stop glare.

hey mate sorry to butt in on the convo :D but how do you get the H1 bulb out ive put the h7 and sidelights in but didnt know correctly how to get it out, i think you have to squeeze the two sides in but it looked fiddly and all the wires in the way so i didnt want to mess and pull anything out wrong, thanks :D

hi bhx

Please dont think iam stating the obvious ph34r.gif

Check the headlight bulb change thread which is pinned at the top of the fiesta forum

It has descriptions as well as pictures for people like me who forget what to do 1 minute after they have read it.

I took the headlights out and bought them in the house and plonked them on the living room rug and sat cross legged ( like at primary school) and changed the bulbs with my laptop next to me.

thats strange then, its only blueish on the end of the bulb and not all over , and i think the h1 bluevision bulbs are blue all over , hopefully anyone else with the h1 extreme power can have a look?

Hi

I think i should explain my answer as i just read it and laughed.
