Hi guys I’ve seen a 10 plate focus st one owner but done 156,000 miles full service history was just wondering is it worth buying 

also what to look for etc Just the mileage worries me etc any help or advice is appreciated thanks

    Don't think I'd risk one on such high mileage personally.  Clutch, suspension and bushes will all be pretty worn by now, plus the drivers seat and steering wheel.  Would expect a lot of stone chips on the front end as well.

    If you do want it then check when the last cambelt change was - and budget for changing it asap if overdue now.

    Check the clutch and gearbox all work ok.  Check the air conditioning is ice cold.  Check the boot and footwells for any signs of water ingress.  Check the wings, sills and subframes for rust.

    2010 might be late enough to get the revised engine, but if not then it's worth checking if it's had the block mod done.

    I was looking at buying one of these some years back and my impression was that the block was modified for the 2008 facelift. It's mentioned here in a roundabout way:
