Steering wheel vibration

 I have a 2020 mk3 kuga 1.5 stline edition and when I drive in normal mode I get a vibration coming through my steering wheel if I am just feathering the accelerator at around 1600rpm to 2000rpm, but if I put it into sport mode I don’t get the vibration coming through. I took it to my local garage but didn’t seem interested saying it could be drive shafts to gearbox problems. As anyone had any issues like this.
