Strange starting

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

I have a Mk4 Mondeo 1.8 TDCI.

Recently, it has developed a starting problem.

When it is started from warm, It starts to idle and then dies, it will do this 2, 3 or 4 times and then start as normal.

It drives and runs normally and starts on the button when cold.

Any idea anyone?

Thanks

Is there any warning lights on dash or any fault codes

No, nothing at all.

Have u checked your air intake box and air pipes to see if any are split or leaking or popped off sometimes if u have to much air going in it can cause the car to stall

Just done the clutch so I know everything attached as it should be. Problem was there before the clutch change.
