Ford No Longer Stock Part No. 1361990

Featured Replies

As per topic, need the screw for the MAP sensor as the old one has been chewed.  Phoned Ford Parts and they no longer stock it and won't help with a replacement.  Anyone know where I'd find one as the parts catalogue doesn't tell me size or dimension, just simply describes as Screw, 1 of.

My local scrappies doesn't have one as the 1.8's seem rare

Ebay sellers could be a plan here, look for such sellers who deal with Ford parts, ask the sellers what you need and see if they'll dig in and help, it's worked for me a few times, not a Ford related part but a Rover part & Citroen part, after asking 10 sellers I found one who had the parts....''BINGO'' and I was well chuffed.

If you do ask Ebay sellers give them your car details - reg' number - cc and most importantly a couple of excellent pictures of your part and where it's located on the engine.

What does the screw look like ?

Ebay: Get looking.....

This screw isn't unique to the 1.8 petrol Focus.  It's used on several other Ford engines and models.  Plus other manufacturers that use the same engines such as Volvo.

If you put that part number into Google and add the word '7zap' to it, that shows you a selection of other Ford engines it was used on.

cheers Ian.  I'll try that if 7zap doesn't work.  TomsFocus, looks like a match for Transit 2006 Transit with 2.2 Duratoque or Mondeo / Galaxy S-Max 2.0 Duratec 2007-2014.  I'll assume the Modeo Duratec 2.0 lumps are common and to check scrappies for that.

thanks again to both for the help.  Just off Night Shift (

Picked up the screw this afternoon.  From a '10 plate Mondeo Duratec.  Think my wrist's half broken with trying to get a 1/4 inch ratchet in there.  What a place to put the sensor.

that's the one.  I snagged a couple when last in scrappies.  Now run with a screw / sensor & T25 Torx in glove box now, just in case the replacement fails when I'm off grid up the Highlands ;
