I have a problem 2018 2.0 Diesel 42,000 miles when you hit the start button engine and engine labors in Limp mode half firing so to speak Steering Locked engine symbol on in dash Stop/Start button flashing green and then after 4/5 attempts later it fires normally steering unlocks any ideas had to replace my Starter Motor last week €700 because Ford said it was overheating I first reported the problem in 2021 to Ford Cork City who said there was nothing wrong with it, it's been happening ever since
