Cruise control

Hi guys cruise control not working..my display states standby but when i try to set the speed it will not work.normally the display would change green and allows me to set speed.in this case im not able to do so..my AC  Is working brake lights working all is fine .So my next step would be a Fuse? Now i have not a clue which one it is i know my fuse box is in footwell .the cover as no info .so im baffled !! Ford mondeo mk 5 2015 diesal  



Manual or auto? If it’s manual the clutch position sensors need to be working too.

Doesn't sound like a fuse.

Fuse specification chart is in the owners handbook.  If you didn't get a hard copy, they are available online.

If I'm looking at the correct handbook, the only fuse is for adaptive cruise control, along with a few other things.  F23 under the bonnet.

I have seen the old faithful "low battery" mentioned in case of cruise control n/a, but if all else seems ok that's probably not the answer. Might be worth checking the battery voltage for purposes of elimination though?
