Galaxy cutting out : Fault P0219

Featured Replies

Afternoon.

Wondering if anyone has had any success fixing a P0219 issue. Started about 6 months ago occasionally cutting out on deceleration. Happened about 5 times now when slowing down hill or approaching a stop. Starts just fine after and fault stays on dash for a few days.

Galaxy 2011 Diesel Auto

Fault code reader gives the following freeze frame at fault time

Absolute Throttle Position
86.667%
Air Flow Rate From Mass Air Flow Sensor
40.62g/s
Calculated Load Value
0%
DTC That Caused Required Freeze Frame Data Storage
P0219
Engine Coolant Temperature
78degree C
Engine RPM
2140.5rpm

Any advice would be great ?

Thanks Al

That Code is a Generic one.

You never said what you read the Code with but there may be other Ford specific Codes as well that your Reader can't pick up.

Getting set up with FORScan is the cheapest way of accessing Ford specific codes and looking at Live Data which may throw some light on the problem.
