Hi I’ve purchased a 23plate ST3 fiesta that’s advertised with performance pack. After checking the vehicle build specifications it says ‘Engine performance high’ does this mean it has the pack?

The display though does not display ‘launch control’ can you have one without the other?

Afaik it's been standard on ST 3 since late 2019 - a 2023 will certainly have it, as indicated by "Engine performance high".

Depending on whether you have analogue or digital dash you need to select it as below as per the online handbook:

Analogue:

SWITCHING LAUNCH CONTROL ON AND OFF - VEHICLES WITH: 4.2 INCH INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DISPLAY SCREEN



1. Using the information display controls on the steering wheel, select MyView.

1. Select FORD PERFORMANCE.

1. Switch Launch Control on or off.

Note:   The system remains on until you switch it off or you switch the ignition off.

Digital:

LAUNCH CONTROL ON AND OFF - VEHICLES WITH: 12.3 INCH INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DISPLAY SCREEN



1. Press the menu button on the steering wheel to enter the instrument cluster display main menu.

1. Select Settings.

1. Switch Launch Control on or off.

Note:   The system remains on until you switch it off or you switch the ignition off.

Hi Eric thanks for that. Yes I’ve found it now but it won’t allow me to select it. I read somewhere that the engine needs to be up to temperature first. I’ll give that a go.

Anyway I know I have it now.

Yes, that's correct:

LAUNCH CONTROL LIMITATIONS

Launch control does not operate when the transmission is in reverse or if the engine has not reached normal operating temperature.
