Pinto efi throttle position sensor

Featured Replies

Hi anyone out there no where I can get a 2.0 pinto efi throttle position sensor any help would be appreciated

Silly question I know, but have you tried Ford?

If it was common to other EFi models of the time, it may still be available

I had to replace one on a 2.9 XR4x4, the resistance track was grotty around motorway cruising speed position.  Using an analogue meter (ie one with a needle) you could see how the resistance was intermittent at one point.  I found that the car ran just as well with it disconnected completely......  This was about 1998, and I think Ford charged me about £56 !

Dave may well be correct, and it might also be worth asking on XROC:
