Probably Fan failure

Featured Replies

Guys, I have Ford Fusion 1.4 tdci 2009 and this year, which is actually 4th after I bough it second hand it showed me high engine temperature on uphill and constant driving in second or first gear.

I had to stop maybe 5 times and wait my enginge to cool down, and one time I turn the heater in the car to blow into me and the temp go down immediately.

Anyway I think it's my fan, cuz when I arrived at the destination the fan wasn't spinning, which wasn't the case the years before when the fan was still spinning after I turned of the car when I arrived.

It's very hot here in Skopje now, and I can't take pictures, but I've noticed that some plug ins from the loom are tied and only one plug in from the fan motor goes into the car.

It's like I'm missing fan module, after my car was in uncertified service in the winter for changing glowplugs.

On my car fan says C9G4A, and as I can see there is an empty space in the left bottom corner with holes for screws for the module.

Can someone confirm me about this car fan C9G4A where the module should be, cuz there are different models on internet.

Thank you in advance.

There are some pictures from my fan. If I try to turn on the AC in idle, I can hear some sound like something is trying to turn on somewhere from the belt region.

Its' like the AC compressor won't turn on, the sound is more like when you turn the blinkers.

I watched this video and that sound that I hear is like the sound on 0:59, over and over again I hear it. So probably something is broken in the compressor parts.

Anyway, my question is : Is this could be the problem for high engine temp? My AC was on when I first time got high engine temp and than I killed it immediately.
