So today my rev surges that had been rather intermittent hit a new level today the revs were all over the place.

Managed to get to ford an do a road test with a technician for them to see for themself the technician straight away Said he thinks its the gearbox an mentioned valves it's not a problematic powershift box the car is pretty undriveable now the car is 10 months out of warranty so fearing the worst regarding  cost has anyone had similar issues with a non powershift box even with how bad it is its still nor showing any fault codes an no engine management lights earliest is Friday before they can dive a bit deeper to find out what's going on 

Any advice appreciated
