My front wheels turned out to be buckled so i got a new set. These ones are 40 offset with 63.4mm centre bore.

The originals are 41.5 offset with a 63.4 centre bore. 

Recommended offset difference is 5mm either way.

Will it just take a new alignment to make sure everythings cool? Ive seen some originals go up to a 50 offset so guessing they all fit?

    Alignment doesn't change the offset.  Only spacers can do that.  But yes, that 1.5mm won't make any difference in the real world.

    Spangly. Well the last alignment was done with buckled wheels and it was pulling to the left so gonna get it checked anyway coz im pedantic like that.

     

    Need the car mechanically inspected because it appears to have been either driven over rough ground at speed or dropped off a curb. 

    Tie rods, ends and lower arms all had play or knackered ball joints, and although the knotch/free play in the steering has gone, it clunks at full lock either way. 

    Hopefully these wheels will sort my problems.
