I am VERY new to the forum so apologies in advance if protocols are askew. Recently bought a UK 2008 1.6 petrol fusion with a genuine <10,000 m. Changed fuel filter. Runs perfectly and NO eml showing. Developed a v loud clicking noise from fuel tank area. Noise then suddenly stopped but transferred to engine bay. Found hose had dislodged from EVAP valve. Put hose back on EVAP valve and then noise transferred back to fuel tank area. Noise only happens when engine is running and at normal operating temp and is constant (above tick over) regardless of rpm. I think it must surely be an EVAP problem and I would welcome any advice on a cure that you may offer. Thank you.
