Focus mk2.5 Tyre Pressure Message

Featured Replies

I had a nail in the front offside tyre a while back which I managed to pull out. I used a repair kit on it and the tyre seems to be fine, but I've constantly got the 'check tyre pressure' on the dash. The tyre pressures are all fine so is there a way to clear this?

The car does has it's MOT on Friday.

Your car most likely has the "Deflation Detection System" rather than the newer system of TPMS which uses individual sensors inside of each wheel.

So firstly have you checked the tyre pressures of all four wheels ?

Next you just need to reset the DDS by pressing and holding the 'set/reset' button.

Perfect thanks mate! When I get home tonight I'll follow this all, including making sure all the tyre pressures are OK 🙂
