12V socket power

Featured Replies

Hi, all my (3) 12V sockets seem to be permanently live (on my 24 Toureno connect) is this normal (I’m awaiting a replacement battery from ford, & the mechanic has turned all the heating & ventilation off. So I don’t know if they have made them permanently live or it’s normal)

thanks

They should go off after 30 - 40 minutes (no, I don't know why). Plug something innocuous in them (like a phone charger) and check back after an hour...

They should all power down approximately 20 minutes after the doors are locked.

I assume that when you checked on the device that you didn't unock the car or open a door (if left unlocked), as that would turn it back on again.
