Hi, I hope I've posted in the correct section,  apologies if not.

2012 1.6 tdci Focus, 123k, owned since 44k. Oil and filter changed every 6k.

P2599 code, I do not have access to Forscan,  just an elm and torq lite. Replaced boost sensor, map and maf. Vacuum pipes appear good. Car boosts great when cold but after 2 or 3 miles " engine malfunction " and limp home occur. EML not on. Turning car off on then it's OK for a couple miles then engine malfunction etc. However, if reset then taking on dual carriageway car held in 4th 70mph for 5 miles, turn around at junction another 5 miles all OK. 2 miles off Junction,  at traffic lights, no code. Drivjng onwards 30 zone, descending after climbing steep hill ( hills do not trigger problem), problem reoccurs, off on clears car drives normally once again for a few miles. Seems to  be in town slow speeds causing the issue. I was wondering whether the variable vanes were sticking? Any other thoughts or suggestions please

Have now scanned with Forscan, p2599 and p2563 problem turbo boost position - seems a few hits on the net but not many fixes.

Fixed, I've lived with this problem for a long time,  and have fixed it. The cause was a sticking turbo actuator, bit penetrating fluid and a few days later all good.
