2006 pollen filter

Featured Replies

Hi and thanks for the location advice for the cabin filter.

The vehicle although mint inside did have a unique odour which we couldn't put a finger on.

The previous owner who was very neglectful of cleaning & house keeping duties of a vehicle, certainly left this car in a hurry.

After pulling the cabin filter out, we could see where the odour was hibernating.

Looking at the state of the filter, there was evidence of water ingress due to the front scuttle being blocked with debris causing water to enter the air intake.

I doubt if at all, this was ever changed since new, speaks volumes for dealer servicing.

New filter on order, taking Fred out for a suspension shake down tomorrow & run the brakes in.

We have a '07 Fiesta, '10 Fusion and trees adjacent.......

I have to remove the Scuttles and clear out leaves and debris every spring !

Fusion is a great car, a bit like a Tardis.  Locally there is a Fusion with ST running gear, and a mildly tuned engine !

Hi, thanks for the reply, I think the fusion is the quiet sleeper, you can get modified parts abroad, already guys are starting to realise this could be the next best thing.

That fusion with the ST running gear, surprised a few at the traffic lights 🤤

My fusion is a keeper, I will be looking at a MK2 Fiesta project in the New year as a project car, hope you're enjoying your fords.
