Idling louder + issues when changing from 2nd to 3rd Gear

Hi,

I’ve read through many posts on here trying to figure out what issue is, however I’m stuck and need help please…

I have the dreaded 2011 Galaxy 2.0 Diesel TDCi Powershift  🙈

Previous to gearbox change car was awful, limited function, limp mode, only gears 1,3,5 all the usual and fun stuff these cars give you heads with.

I then got new gearbox done (Driver Transmission) at 166k miles and car started driving lovely, was a pleasure to drive

However now 2 years on (current mileage 185k):

- It’s started idling at higher revs. 
- When driving at constant pace - it sometime just revs high after the 2nd gear (like it didn’t catch 3rd gear and hasn’t selected a gear), other times it revs to around 2500rpm before it goes into 3rd gear.

- After I slow down and speed up it catches the gear (issue always from 2nd to 3rd)

I read on here gearbox oil and filter may need changing - I did that (from Driver Transmission) still same issue.

Also I read the battery must be in good condition so I’ve just bought a new one Lion from Eurocar part) got the same issue.

Now looking at buying a ODB EX and Forscan licence (however don’t have a clue how to use that), don’t even know how it would help tbh

Any help would be much appreciated. I’ve read great success stories from people that have tried out some of the suggestions on here, hoping to be another one of them, I like the car but it’s just 1 issue after another with it…
