I have a 2001 ford focus zetec 1.6.

When my mechanic installed a new gear box he disconnected the battery and after ten attempts at putting in a pin code into the radio it is now locked.

Does anyone have any idea on how I can unlock the radio.

At the moment, the display reads 'locked' no matter what i press.

Any help much appreciated!

if you had come here first we would have given you the radio code all you had to do was pull the radio out and get the m number off the back of it nbow its locked youll need to take it to a specialist to unlock it for you i believe

Could he disconnect the battery for 30 minutes? then try it with the code.

if its locked its off to the dealers.

prolly cheaper going to a scrappy and getting a replacement unit (doubt they'll charge much). im sure one of the guys on here can get the code for you :)
