Rear Passenger Door Wont Unlock with Central Locking

Featured Replies

Hi all

Central locking works fine locking all doors, but the rear passenger door will not unlock with the central logging.  I can unlock it manually but would like to try and fix this.  Taking the door cover off, i can see the window mechanism is mounted to the plastic cover on the door

Any advice? i am assuming the lock solenoid needs replacing but need to get access to it.  The glass window mechanism is fixed to the back of the plastic cover making it difficult to remove.  Any tips?

Thanks

Those two foam circles cover window clips.  Firstly lower the window until the clips are in line.  Then release the clips.  Then push the window fully up and tape it in position.  Then the panel will be free to remove.
