Crunching into 1st gear

hello, i have a late 2014 ford focus, its the facelift model. 

Occasionally, when i put it into 1st gear it will struggle to go in, or if im on the move then it will crunch or grind. 

It has about 95K miles, and has had a new clutch put in before i bought it and im unsure as to what the issue could be

any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

    Sounds like the clutch dragging to me.

    Possible failing clutch slave cylinder or even the clutch master cylinder.
