Sticky door lock?

Featured Replies

Hey so I'm having some issues with my internal door lock, I keep looking around online for some possible troubleshooting however nothing I find relates to my issue.  I have a 2007 focus zx3 ses edition the issue I'm having is with my door lock kinda sticking but not,  I dunno if it's the lock or the actuator to the lock itself,  I have my locks set up to a key fob to lock and unlock my doors,  all my locks work besides my passenger door, driver side locks and unlocks fine,  my hatch pops open when I press the trunk button, the passenger door does not lock out unlock with the key fob, I can manually lock and unlock the passenger door no issue from inside,  when I use the key fob I can hear the actuator trying to lock and unlock the passenger side door before stopping. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?  Any help would be appreciated

Try squirting some 3 in 1 oi into the mechanism, you may get lucky. Don't use WD40, different thing altogether...
