Front Headlamp Manual Adjusting

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I drive a 1.6 Ghia, 2005 model. I bought the car about 2 months ago, but found both lights are substantially low, so much, that even on brights, the car doesn't light the road more then a 100metres!!!

I now want to adjust it manually, 'cause at electronic adjusters does not want to lift the beams high enough. I can I go about doing this? Any pointers and how to get to the screws will be much appretiated.

Thanx

Normally the adjusting screws are accesible without having to do anything, if you go into a garage they should be able to do this for anf test them as they you could lift them too high and make them illegal.

your best bet would be to go to an mot test station and ask them to set them at the higest legal position
