can anybody help, i have a message on my screen saying transmission malfunction service needed. i took it into main dealers they did a diagnostic check came up with a code for TCM.  they said that there was an tiny oil leak underneath the gearbox. That cost me £144. The car drives perfectly with no problem with the gear changes. how can I remove this message on my screen, as I think it is just a computer problem

    I think you're wrong.

    If you ignore it it will jump up and bite you.

    If you have a TCM then you must be a powershift and you definitely don't want to ignore warning signs from these

    What is full spec of engine & transmission?

    No oil leak on a Ford is definitely a concern.  There can't be any oil left in it! 😮

    Derek, if you are to get any help with serious answers you need to start your story at the beginning and EXPLAIN what the problem is.

    Have you got two different threads running on the forum ?

    Nothing you have said in the last two posts makes any sense. We are all keen to offer help and advice but need to understand the issue first.
