Does anyone know why my 59 reg 1.4 petrol (auto) has such a low skirt at the front ? It scrapes the small ramp (about 4")going into my garage. A half inch strip of wood clears it. I am sure my 09 reg 1.6 diesel didn't have it. Is for water ingress protection as it is petrol and the diesel didn't need it ? Maybe it is just a later mod ?
