Mk7 Exhaust

Featured Replies

oryt im just woundering if their is any differnace between the full mountune exhaust system and the puma speed one? like is back box differant or differant end tips? cheers

only difference is the mountune exhaust has mountune engraved on the tips.

That's incorrect!

The exhaust is totally different (the image used on the PS site maybe of a Mountune exhaust), but that's not what they sell. The Mountune Performance parts are the ONLY parts that do not affect your warranty either - regardless of how close other tuners images are of our products...

We have a policy of ongoing product development and we spent a lot of time on the internals of the silencer together with ensuring optimum back-pressure for performance - as tested on engine dyno. This design is our IP and is protected to us.

There is a 1.6 cat-back (Ford-approved) exhaust coming in the next few weeks, and following that will be one for the 1.25 / 1.4 in case you or anyone else reading this is interested.

That will mean you could then trade up to the 140PS conversion later if you already have the Mountune cat-back (not anyone else's though - obviously)

How will this cat-back (for the 1.6) differ to the Mountune one? Any ideas on cost, looks or benefits performance wise?
