Transit 2.0 eco 2018 no one can get this running properly

Featured Replies

Okay, I set a challenge who I will call the Ford genius, the reason for this is because about five or six people have looked at this truck including Fords, engine builders, and diesel specialists also myself and no one can figure out the problem.

The problem

It’s very hard to start and when you do eventually get it started, it runs perfect with no issues whatsoever drive it for 5min or 1 hours it will simply restart instantly, but this is were the problem lays, leave the truck siting overnight and you’ll have the same program starting problem

Literally everything has been changed on this Truck. Let’s give you a list.

fuel filter

fuel stop

fuel

fuel lines

cam and crank sensors

low and high pressure pump

all injectors

head and head gasket

Then all the ecu pin outs checked and sensors check fuses relays

lives and earths all good

There is one thing that I can see that’s happening all the time the truck is not firing the noid testing light 💡 isn’t glowing when it try’s to fire up the noid light as a dim glow, when it eventually try’s to firer up properly and starts the noid light as a good strong pulse light

There no real for codes being shown

Occasionally communication can and occasionally speed sensor p1934

good luck lol

Have you read the Ford specific DTC's using FORScan ?

I don't see any mention of the glow plugs being tested or replaced 🤔

My penny's worth:

It's either glow plugs

Engine harness fault

Front end harness fault, has the Van had a front end bump?

Oh, and check the throttle body

What is the noid testing light? Is this glow plug related as mentioned twice above?
