Rear Ended -

Featured Replies

Hi, I was rear ended at traffic lights at the weekend.  The VW Golf behind me was stationary but when the lights changed green he went into boy racer mode and charged into the back of my car without any regard for mine or any of the other cars in front about to pull away.  I was stationary with brakes on and he hit me at about 10mph, there was one hell of a loud crunch but no damage I could see to mine (credit to my colour coded bumper!). I'd like to say leave it as I'm old school but I'm worried there may be unseen damage underneath so asking if anyone has had a similar incident and can advise anything I need to get checked out?

Thanks

Even if the bumper looks okay, its probably deformed the crash bar behind it.

Also check under the boot carpet for any creases.
