Ford Fusion 2009 Radio 6000CD Replacement

Featured Replies

Is it possible to replace the 6000CD Radio in a 2009 Fusion. I was told i will need to find the right adapters as it can interfere with the security system?

I was also looking at changing it to a single Din unit with a fascia adaptor

Is this possible?

yes you can change the din size and you need to get the right sot cable i think Thats  what they call it in Halfords

Sorry to open this post up again, but took the radio out and I can't seem to get these last 2 cables out hopefully someone can help me with this?

Also could someone tell me what the 4 connectors are for? I've been looking at adapters and you only need to connect 2 of the connectors so was wondering what they are for.

Might be speed sensor, bluetooth, phone mute, remote volume control, canbus (?) for the display in the dash board.......

And I forgot - the Aux Audio input.
