Hi I have a mk8 Fiesta Titanium, I have just changrd my Moto G8 fer a Moto G54 phone and now In cant get the google maps to work through car screen, both the car and phone are talking to each other via bluetooth as the phone works hands free, it worked perfectly on the G8 but not on the G54, anyone got any ideas please, I am not very computer savvy.

You need to connect your Phone with a Cable to get Android Auto to work unless you have bought one of the Wireless Dongles that are made for that purpose.

I hsave tried that as well but still no luck.

Have a look in your Phones Settings under Apps and Notifications and see if Android Auto is there.

Another possibility is that the Cable you are using is not working properly.

Also often when a phone plays up you should restart it and any bugs will often go away.
