Just faced "engine service now fault" after putting it off and restarting makes it gone

What to do ??

Get the fault codes read

Get it to a mechanic or a workshop.

They should use the diagnostic tool.

Or you can use forscan.

The problem with taking the car to KwikFit is that they only have a generic code reader.

You need an Auto-Electrician who has FORScan or you need to take the car to a Ford garage. The first thing I see in the codes is that the car has a faulty front left ABS wheel sensor. Most of the other codes are Canbus communication errors.

Replace the front left ABS sensor and clear all the codes using FORScan and see which DTC's return.

Hi

ABS sensor code seems to be old one not cleared. Kwick fit cleared it and after that that alarm fault didnt appeared . Then I showed mycar at Wisbech Mot centre when i came across battery symbol. Which they said is alternator issue but on checking alternator it found ok . But batterys condition they said is not so bad and not so good. So i put up engine malfunction issue and they said it could be related to alternator. Booking at ford garage is after  3rd february . Today again appeared engine malfunction alarm and i observed that when weather went down from 10 degree to -2 degree this issue came . Also if i accelerate it appears and i have a doubt on fuel filter ? What you say???

Mk3 Focus petrol engines don't have a replaceable fuel filter.

As its alarm message on scanning no fault codes

As was said earlier, you need to get the car scanned with a proper dedicated Ford scanner, either Forscan (if you have a windows laptop), or at a Ford dealer. Then you will have a clearer idea of what is wrong.

I have windows laptop . How can i check on my own ? Please advice .

One more thing its an alarm know i.e it comes with symbol "i" on dashboard with amber continuous light and message of engine malfunction service now so will that ford scanner catches the real cause of it ??

Are you in the UK ?

If yes, my recommendation would be for you to take it to a Ford dealer. I think there is a very good chance that you may turn your car in to a brick if you start playing with FORScan.
