Camera Connector identification

Hi,

does anybody know what the original brand/part number is of 'the' camera connector for Focus/Fiesta/Kuga/Escape parking camera's? I think Ford uses a lot of TE Connectivity and Molex....

I found the Wiring Pig Tail - WPT-1280 (Silver) / CU2Z-14S411-AEA

I can find it on Aliexpress as a knock off but I would like to find the original brand,

    Personally I'd just use the Aliexpress connector. At only 78pence (plus postage). It's only for the reverse camera, not a life support machine, I'm sure it will work just fine.

    The one you found on RS looks similar but it is not. Look at the corner.

    prices for the pigtails and custom looms are ridiculous btw

    Probably find that the Chinese supplier is also the supplier of the branded product. What isn't made in China these days? Apart from Cornish pasties...

    Hello.

    Is your question to do with a camera already fitted, or are you retro fitting one?

    I ask as I would like to fit a camera to my 2016 mk3 focus.

    it's for neither 🙂 but could be used for both I guess. I have a MK4 but the connector is the same

    For the MK3 there are some manuals here for retrofitting I think. The wire harness(es) are expensive, even second hand, so maybe you can add some pins to certain connectors and only add the camera connector yourself. I expect the connector for the camera to be delivered this week
