Hi there all merry Christmas and a happy new year for tommorrow. I have a ford mondeo edge 2007 reg I’ve had no heating for a while the thermostat went so fitted new thermostat sorted coolant level out pipes were heating up temperature gauge stays in the middle as should but the heating system is just blowing freezing cold air no heat atol anybody able to give me some ideas of what could possibly be wrong my first thought are blocked heater matrix or faulty heater dial in the car thanks everyone look forward to the reply’s

    If you can get into the footwell, feel the heater matrix pipes.  They should be hot when the coolant is hot.

    The dial only changes the air direction to blow over the matrix.
