Ford Focus Mk 4.5 Titanium X Mild Hybrid automatic ECO Coach

Featured Replies

So i have gone from a MK4 Titanium manual to a Automatic Titanium X with the full digital dash.  On the old one there was an ECO coach view which showed a blue circle around the digiyal speed that expanded as you drove more economically, and also sugessted when to change gear.

Now in the new one, when I select ECO coach, all I seem to get is a little green bar on the outside of the digital spedometer, that changes it position depending on what speed im doing.  Ive gone through the manual, and there is no mention of it, just the way the manual, non Full digital dash works.

As its an automatic, i dont have any real control on the gear changes, so just trying to figure out the the green bar is supposed to show.  Can anyone explain its purpose, are you just supposed to keep the speed within the green bar range, but as you go faster, the bar goes up as well, so its always within the range of speed your driving.
