Focus 1.0 ecoboost 2015 coolant leak

Featured Replies

Evening all,

First post so hopefully it's in the right place.

Recently bought a focus 1.0 ecoboost and have noticed coolant is going down very quickly. Had a look and it appears to be coming from the silver pipe directly underneath the coolant reservoir (see attached image) it seems to have a scratch/ crack in it which you can see in the picture with the rubber black hose below it still wet from the leak. Can anyone tell me if this is easy to replace and what it's called please?

Thanks in advance

That's an AC pipe.  Coolant doesn't run through there.  The reservoir is probably cracked underneath.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll have a check tomorrow and see if I can find the leak in the reservoir. I'm assuming to replace it if fairly straight forward?
