I have a MK3 2012 Titanium X and believe one (or more) of my parking sensors is duff.

Can the exact sensor that has failed be diagnosed with an OBD scanner? I don’t have one, but otherwise was thinking of whether checking continuity between pins would work? I don’t have an OBD scanner but I do have a multi meter?

    Yes if you use FORScan (free for windows), and a vLinker FS cable (about £26 to £32).

    If you are getting a loud bleep followed by some short ones then your car will have a self diagnostic mode. 

    If you are then post you results and I or someone else will try to have a look and may be able to tell you what one if faulty.

    I just get a parking system fault and no beeps. It’s definitely moisture related as at some times during summer it would work.
