Fuel nozzle not going in. Any ideas? Can the fuel inlet pipe be stripped out easily?

    Might be a stupid question but you weren't trying to put a diesel fuel nozzle in?

    Does the Ford emergency plastic funnel still fit ?   [ONLY test using the Ford Petrol funnel]

    If yes, then the problem is not with the car. If no, then the 'Easy Fuel' flap has locked out.

    It was certainly cold enough here yesterday for my car door handles to be frozen shut!
