ECU Problem?

Featured Replies

I have an Focus mk2 2.0 tdci 2007, my turbo doesn't work because i don’t have 12v in electric valve. All components are checked. New turbo, new electric valve (3 pieces), new hoses. I also checked the car's ecu, it gave me 2 options (sid803 and sid 803a ) on the chassis series, and I had another option on the car. I mention that the color of the screen on the board is green. Someone told me that if it's red, it's SID803A, and if it's green, it's SID803…so, i changed with SID803, but nothing changed. What can I do?

Welcome, but I have to say I'm confused (It looks like lost in the translation, sorry?)

Don't understand the colour/SID thing but someone might?
If all these parts have been changed (by a garage?) then has a proper diagnosis been done or was it just a parts cannon being fired (where components are just changed by guessing)?
What fault codes are you getting and what performance issues are there?
Do you mean the turbo variable vanes are not operating?  If so, the reasons for this need to be determined?

Plug into FORScan and read the DTCs

Then come back to us.

As @Shearers says, we can't really get what you are saying, sorry
