Ford wetbelt offer...

Featured Replies

Sorry in advance, if this is a daft question....

Can it be this simple?

keep running a fully stamped serviced Ford focus ecoboost until it goes bang and Ford will repair it FOC, or pay £950 to get it fixed myself in advance before it goes bang.

it can't be that simple can it?

thanks in advance

The latest Ford goodwill policy is as below, so in theory provided it "goes bang" before 10 years and 150k miles and the specified conditions are met they will support the repair.

However, as that policy has only recently been revised (June 2024) afaik we have yet to hear from anyone who has benefited so far.

Yeah, I don't think I have the balls either, as my luck isn't particularly good!!

I'll definitely fish out the service book and check there are no gaps.

Shame Ford don't do a wetbelt service at a preferential rate instead of/ as well as  replacing a whole engine.
