Will forscan show my variable vein position

As titled.

Are you sure it's a VNT turbo?  I thought it was a TD02 on the 95ps version?

Ive no idea as to the model, but Ive examined it on the car and doesnt seem to have the actuator, just the waste gate. If it isnt a variable, that makes it easier to diagnose my problem. Got engine vibration. Oily mess on the intercooler in pipe at the engine side. Gonna give it the "revive" treatment and clean the maf to make sure its not an airflow thing.

If needs be, will take off the intercooler and flush it and the pipe between the turbo and the intercooler pipe and clean that off the car.

I dont know how to check the injectors but no lights or missfires. Doesnt matter if its warm or cold so not suspecting glow plugs.

Although it didnt completely resolve my vibration issue, i can honestly say that diesel revive does make an improvement. Sound and vibes changed almost immediately while using it. The vibrations are less strong, indicating i did indeed, and still do, have a dirty intake path. I will give it another go in about a months time before considering giving my intercooler a flush.

I had a bit of misty film in my inlet hose, but thats from the pcv so expected. No oily mess in the turbo so I know my seals are intact. Removed the mess off the intercooler in pipe and nothing has appeard just yet.

If it annoys me, I will try some JLM intake and egr cleaner as it may have stronger effects and if anything has been dragged out of the intercooler then it may be on the throttle plate and that part of the intake. That or I have build up on the actual intake manifold so will just take some time.

Reluctant to take things apart unless I really need to.

Will also clean the maf sensor.
