MK6 Fiesta Air Intake Falling Out

Featured Replies

The intake tube (9652 in the image below) keeps falling out quite often. It comes loose after most drives, so I keep having to push it back into place. Sometimes, it causes the car not to start at all until I put it back into place. Can I use any clamp or clip to prevent this from happening?

You could try a large cable tie.

Or duct tape

You're not alone. There's a pip on the pipe that wears down so I used a length of insulation tape wrapped round  the pipe and filter box.

Thank you

I replaced mine after a visit to a scrappy !  Just make sure it has a full quota of pips !
