it's a recently new to us mk3.5 and I found this at the bottom of the arm rest storage. 
Also found the sat nav sd card so have ordered a new one as a treat,

I've tried to google but nothing, hence my asking you folks!!

Place the keyfob directly on top of it. Full instructions can be found in the handbook.

All Fords have a handbook. If you don't have a physical copy, download from Ford web site...

As already said, you can download from the website. Or, if you prefer a physical book, you can buy a newly printed one from ebay:

You will need to select the manual you need in the listing (probably the full one), plus the year and model.

There is also a link from the Ford website to this site which I assume are original Ford manuals, though pricier than the EBay offerings:

€28.64 for mine (exc P&P) LOL Thankfully, mine was built in the days when Ford supplied one with car, and the previous one owner saw no reason to take it out of the glove box... (oh, if you are buying, you need to register & sign in)

I found The Euro site was €39.16 for mine. You need to be careful with the EBay one, I found it started at a tempting £2.99 but after going through all the option boxes it climbed to £18.39. Still cheaper though.

I've found I've got used to the online version now, though it's good to see I can get a printed copy (relatively) cheaply if necessary.

My C Max had the original book pack in the car when I bought it. My friend has recently bought a B Max, but there was no paperwork in the car, so I bought one off ebay for him, via the link I posted above. That one came out at £15.39 in total. Looking at what came, it's cheap at that price.

Funnily enough, I had another look and it came to that the second time. So either I misread it (highly likely!) or they're using "dynamic pricing"!😀 

After further thought, I decided a paper copy would be handy, so ordered one. I'll post any comments when it arrives.

Well, despite saying last published 2021 the Fiesta handbook only covers pre-facelift (non-MHEV) cars, though it does cover the 1.5 ST engine. Still a useful look up for basic things but no info on digital dash, etc.

So based on that I would say these are best for instances where the car originally came with a paper handbook that has gone awol, less so for later cars where there never was a paper version but electronic only.

The book itself is a spiral bound reprint (double sided) of the original, I would guess from a PDF and is perfectly acceptable to read.

 

Have they kept the copyright warning on the first page? 🤭
