Coolant hose snapped

I have ordered a new one I’m abit unsure if oil should be coming out of the engine once disconnected the hose that leads back to coolant reservoir.Any advice would be great.

    Not sure which pipe on those pictures.  Though oil definitely shouldn't be coming out of a coolant hose unless the head gasket has failed or the block has cracked.
