steering not smooth

Featured Replies

Good evening, has anyone ever had problems with the steering having difficulty keeping the car straight and does it seem like the steering jerks and isn't smooth when you turn it just a little?

Check the car battery State Of Charge. Once it falls below 65% the steering can be effected and become a bit jumpy.

good morning, I'll try recharging the battery... did you have the same problem as me and did you solve it like this?

I never did on mine because I did lots of mileage on my commute.

The battery being low is your issue though

My own car does this with the steering if the battery gets to around 12.3V

It's always a reminder to me that it's time to put the battery back on charge.

To see the battery charge status, use the multimeter by connecting one end to the red pole and one to the black pole?

Yep
